Jon Hoeber & Erich Hoeber (Red, Battleship) have written the screenplay and Lorenzo DiBonaventura (Transformers series, G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra & Retaliation) and Mark Vahradian (Red, Man on a Ledge) are producing the project for DiBonaventura Pictures. Composer Christophe Beck scored the original 2010 film. Silvestri is coming off one of his most successful years, which featured the release of Marvel’s The Avengers and Robert Zemeckis’ Flight. Red 2 is set to be released on July 19, 2013 by Summit Entertainment/Lionsgate. For updates on the action comedy, visit the official movie website.

Nice!
he sucks sooo bad
Yeah, he does. Every single one of his scores sounds like the music from The Mummy Returns. The music works okay in the actual movies, but it doesn’t stand up on it’s own.
With his trademark action packed score this is going to better! That’s great news indeed!
