14th Street Music has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Girl Rising. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Megamind, The Bible) and Rachel Portman (The Cider House Rules, Chocolat). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. Girl Rising is directed by Richard Robbins (Operation Homecoming: Writing the Wartime Experience) and tells the stories of several girls from around the globe who fought for their chance to go to school in spite of extreme poverty and natural disasters.
