MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the mini-series Flight of the Storks (Le vol des cigognes). The album features the series’ original score written by French composer Eric Neveux (Intimacy, Hideaways). The soundtrack is now available digitally on iTunes, where you can also check out audio clips. Flight of the Storks is based on the 1994 novel by Jean-Christophe Grangné and follows a young academic who teams up with an amateur ornithologist to follow storks on their migration to Africa. The EuropaCorp Television production is directed by Jan Kounen (Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky) and stars Rutger Hauer, Harry Treadaway, Perdita Weeks and Clemens Schick. The mini-series recently premiered on Canal+ in France. No word yet on a domestic air date.
