Terence Blanchard has composed the score for the Lifetime original movie Abducted: The Carlina White Story. The film directed by Vondie Curtis-Hall is based on the true story of the kidnapping of Carlina White, who was abducted as an infant by Ann Pettway from a New York hospital and solved her own kidnapping and reunited with her biological parents 23 years later. The movie’s cast includes Aunjanue Ellis (The Help), Keke Palmer, Sherri Shepherd and Roger Cross. Craig Piligian, Mary Martin and Alan Gasmer are executive producing the Pilgrim Studios production. Elizabeth Hunter (Jumping the Broom) has written the script. Curtis-Hall has previously collaborated with the Grammy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated composer of such films as The 25th Hour, Inside Man and Malcolm X on his previous three directorial features, including the theatrical films Waist Deep and Glitter and the Jamie Foxx-starring TV movie Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story in 2004. Abducted: The Carlina White Story is set to premiere this Saturday, October 6, 2012 on Lifetime. To learn more about the film, visit the official movie website.
