The alternative rock band thenewno2 is writing the music for the upcoming fantasy romance Beautiful Creatures. The film is directed by Richard LaGravenese and stars Alden Ehrenreich and Alice Englert as two star-crossed lovers who uncover dark secrets about their respective families, their history and their town. Jeremy Irons, Viola Davis, Emmy Rossum, Thomas Mann and Emma Thompson are co-starring in the film. LaGravenese has also written the screenplay based on the first novel in the best-selling series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. Erwin Stoff (Water for Elephants) is producing the Alcon Entertainment production with Andrew A. Kosove & Broderick Johnson (The Blind Side), Molly Mickler Smith (Something Borrowed) and David Valdes (The Green Mile). The movie marks the first feature scoring assignment of thenewno2. The band’s current members include Jonathan Sadoff who has scored several films over the last couple of years, including this year’s comedy drama Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (co-scored with Rob Simonsen). I love this Band !!! Dhani has found his own unique groove and it is Wonderful and very cool . His band and the new songs are very listenable , and He deserves a big round of applause !!! I feel the music world will be very much better now and in future with hteir combined energy and talents … I rate this a ( 9 ) …
