Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for Carl Franklin’s drama Bless Me, Ultima. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Kilian (Tsotsi, Traitor, Pitch Perfect). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 25, 2012. Check out audio clips below. Bless Me, Ultima directed by Franklin (Out of Time) is based on the bestselling novel by Rudolfo Anaya and tells the coming-of-age story of a man growing up in New Mexico during World War II and his relationship with an elderly medicine woman who helps him navigate the battle between good and evil that rages in his village. Ganalon and Miriam Colon are starring in the movie produced by Mark Johnson (Rain Man, The Chronicles of Narnia). No release date has been announced yet for the film.
