Erran Baron Cohen has scored the Lifetime TV movie Talhotblond. The drama marks the longform directorial debut of Courteney Cox and follows the life of Thomas Montgomery, a married father of two young daughters who gets seduced by the world of online gambling and chat rooms where a virtual romance and sexual obsession ultimately leads to the murder of an innocent man. Garret Dillahunt, Laura San Giacomo and Ashley Hinshaw are starring in the TV production. The film is executive produced by Brad Krevoy (HBO’s Taking Chance, Dumb & Dumber) Alexandre Coscas and Francisco Gonzalez. Trent Haaga wrote the screenplay which is based on the documentary talhotblond by Barbara Schroeder. Baron Cohen is coming off scoring Paramount Pictures’ comedy The Dictator which is currently playing in theaters. Talhotblond will premiere this Saturday, June 23 on Lifetime.
