Lakeshore Records will be releasing a soundtrack album for the animated TV series Transformers Prime. The album includes the original music from the first season of the show composed by Brian Tyler (The Expendables, Eagle Eye). The soundtrack is currently scheduled for a release on March 20, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips from all tracks on the album can be checked out below. Transformers Prime executive produced by Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci (Star Trek, Transformers‘ feature films) and Jeff Kline chronicles the triumphant return of the Autobots. The show’s first season premiered in the 2010/2011 TV season and is set for a DVD and Blu-Ray release on March 6 (click here to pre-order the set). The series’ second season of 26 more episodes is set for a release on February 18, 2012 on The Hub.
