According to JWfan.net, Sony Classical will be releasing a new edition of the soundtrack for Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace to coincide with the release of the 3D re-release of the film in February. The album featuring the original music composed by John Williams will be a straight re-issue of the soundtrack that was released at the time of the movie’s release in 1999. The album is available to download on Amazon and audio clips can be checked out below. The 3D version of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace directed by George Lucas and starring Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman, Jake Llyod, Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker will be released in theaters nationwide on February 10, 2012.
