Mansell should be winner or no grammy award will be given
Most of Black Swan’s soundtrack is Mansell adapting music from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake with barely original music.
There is a lot of original music in the film. Also, Mansell has done an amazing job adapting the Tchaikovsky material and more than deserves the nomination and hopefully the award.
Unfortunately, I think that Daft Punk may get the win…”just because”…but hopefully either Desplat or Mansell win.
Thank god daft punk is finally receiving notice from the mainstream of the music world; many of called them the worst of the worst of a heavily underrated genre, and it is good to see that their music is finally being appreciated. Daft Punk deserves to win their score, because the score for Tron was absolutely spectacular, surpassing the magnificence of Inception and even matching, in my opinion Crimson Tide.
Daft Punk underrated? What!
daft punk should obviously win, they have come out with some of the best music ever.
Daft Punk.. FTW
