Cooking Vinyl has released a soundtrack album for the Australian drama Hearts and Bones. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rafael May (I Am Woman, Ghosthunter). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Hearts and Bones is co-written and directed by Ben Lawrence and stars Hugo Weaving, Andrew Luri, Hayley McElhinney and Bolude Watson. The movie revolves around two men – an Australian photojournalist and a South Sudanese refugee – as they are forced to confront the twin horrors of war and grief. The drama premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and was released on VOD in Australia earlier this month. Gravitas Ventures has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release in the U.S. later this year.
