Academy Award winner Jan A.P. Kaczmarek (Finding Neverland, Unfaithful, The Visitor, Get Low) has recently recorded his score for the upcoming drama Music, War and Love. The film is directed by Martha Coolidge (Valley Girl, Real Genius, Rambling Rose) and stars Adelaide Clemens, Leo Suter, Connie Nielsen, Stellan Skarsgard, Stephen Dorff, Toby Sebastian, Sam Gillet, Sebastian Croft, Ursula Parker, Małgorzata Kożuchowska, Weronika Rosati and Maciej Zakościelny. The movie tells the love story between two young musicians, one Jewish, one Catholic, who are separated by the outbreak of World War II. Bozenna Intrator and David S. Ward (The Sting, Sleepless in Seattle) wrote the screenplay. Intrator is also producing the project with Fred Roos (The Black Stallion, St. Vincent) and Zbigniew Raczynski. Kaczmarek recorded his music last month with the Filmharmonic Orchestra Prague. Music, War and Love is expected to premiere in 2019.
The composer has also recently scored the fantasy drama Valley of the Gods, which is also expected to be released next year.
