Hrishikesh Hirway announced on Twitter that he has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original series Everything Sucks!. The show is created by Ben York Jones (Like Crazy, Breathe In) & Michael Mohan and stars Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Peyton Kennedy, Patch Darragh, Claudine Nako, Sydney Sweeney, Elijah Stevenson, Quinn Liebling and Rio Mangini. The comedy is set in 1996 Oregon and centers on two colliding groups of high school misfits – the AV club and the drama club. Jones and Mohan are also executive producing the project with Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Fringe), Scott Rosenberg (High Fidelity, Con Air), Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec (October Road, Zoo) for Midnight Radio. Hirway has previously scored Mohan’s last feature, Save the Date. Everything Sucks! will premiere on February 16, 2018 on Netflix.
