Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans are set to reteam with director Matthew Ross on the upcoming thriller Siberia. The film starring Keanu Reeves, Ana Ularu, Pasha Lychnikoff and Molly Ringwald. The movie follows an American diamond merchant who travels to Russia to sell rare blue diamonds of questionable origin and finds himself in a love-obsessed relationship with a Russian cafe owner. Scott B. Smith (A Simple Plan, The Ruins) wrote the screenplay. Reeves is also producing the project with Stephen Hamel (Passengers, Henry’s Crime), Gabriela Bacher (What a Man), Braden Aftergood and David Hansen (Lovesong). Bensi & Jurriaans have previously collaborated with Ross on last year’s Frank & Lola. Siberia is currently in post-production. No word yet on a premiere date.
The composers also have the Netflix original series Ozark coming up. The show starring Jason Bateman & Laura Linney will premiere on July 21, 2017 on Netflix.
Looks like a very interesting movie.. We all love a Diamond Smugglers story.. especially if he stops by to see us right ??? And left a few diamonds.. Ha !!
