Siddhartha Khosla has been hired to score the upcoming Hulu original series Runaways. The show is created by Josh Schwartz (The O.C., Chuck) & Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl, The Carrie Diaries) and stars Gregg Sulkin, Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer and Allegra Acosta. The drama is based on the Marvel Comics property created by Brian K. Schwartz & Savage are also executive producing the ABC Signature Studios, Marvel Television and Fake Empire production with Jeph Loeb & Jim Chory (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage). Runaways is set to premiere in early 2018 on Hulu.
Khosla (The Royals, The Neighbors) will also return to score the second season of NBC’s This Is Us, for which he also co-wrote the original song We Can Always Come Back to This. A soundtrack album for the series is in the works. The composer’s other upcoming projects include the feature comedy Fat Camp directed by Jennifer Arnold and starring Chris Redd, Anabelle Acosta, Michael Cienfuegos, Mel Rodriguez and Vivica A. Fox. The movie will premiere next month at the Los Angeles Film Festival.
