Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Zookeeper’s Wife. The album features the film’s original music composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (The Martian, The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, Kingdom of Heaven, Man on Fire). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 31, 2017. The pre-order link will be added to this article within the next few days. The Zookeeper’s Wife is directed by Niki Caro (Whale Rider, North Country) and stars Jessica Chastain, Johan Heldenbergh, Michael McElhatton and Daniel Brühl. The movie is based on Diane Ackerman’s novel of the same name and tells the true story of Antonina Żabińska and her husband Dr. Jan Zabinski, the director of the Warsaw Zoo, who together used the zoo to help about 300 Jewish people escape from the Warsaw Ghetto after the Germans invaded Poland in September 1939.
