Gabriel Mann has been hired to score the upcoming indie comedy Humor Me. The film is written and directed by Sam Hoffman and stars Elliott Gould, Jemaine Clement, Ingrid Michaelson, Bebe Neuwirth, Erich Bergen and Annie Potts. The movie follows a struggling playwright who moves in with his joke-telling dad in a New Jersey golf community. Hoffman is also producing the Fugitive Films production with Courtney Potts and Jamie Gordon (Wedding Daze, Scar). The film marks the feature scoring debut of Mann who is best known for his music for such television shows as Modern Family, Rectify, School of Rock and Rosewood. Humor Me is expected to premiere in 2017.
