Joseph Trapanese is scoring the new Freeform original series Dead of Summer. The show is created by Adam Horowitz & Edward Kitsis (Lost, Once Upon a Time) and Ian Goldberg (The Autopsy of Jane Doe) and stars Elizabeth Mitchell, Elizabeth Lail, Mark Indelicato, Alberto Frezza, Eli Goree, Ronen Rubinstein, Amber Coney and Paulina Singer. The drama is set in the late 80s at Camp Clearwater, a seemingly idyllic Midwestern summer camp, when Clearwater’s dark, ancient mythology awakens and what was supposed to be a summer of fun turns into one of unforgettable scares and evil at every turn. Horowitz, Kitsis and Goldberg are also executive producing the ABC Signature Studios production with Steve Pearlman (Once Upon a Time, V).
