Jeff Danna and Mychael Danna have been hired to score the upcoming animated feature Storks. The film is directed by Nicholas Stoller (Neighbors, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him to the Greek) & Doug Sweetland (Presto) and features the voices of Andy Samberg, Kelsey Grammer, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Katie Crown, Ty Burrell and Jennifer Aniston. The movie takes place in a world where storks have gone from from delivering babies to packages and follows a stork named Junior who accidentally produces an unauthorized baby and must fix the situation before anyone finds out. Stoller has also written the screenplay and is producing the project with Brad Lewis (Ratatouille, Antz). Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), Glenn Ficarra & John Requa (Crazy Stupid Love) and Jared Stern (The Internship) are executive producing. Storks is set to be released on September 23, 2016 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
The Danna brothers have previously co-scored last year’s animated feature The Good Dinosaur for Pixar. They also continue to score FX’s Tyrant, which will return for its third season on July 6.
