Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary City of Gold. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bobby Johnston (Edmond, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Stuck, Mother’s Day, Marfa Girl). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 11 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. City of Gold is directed by Laura Gabbert and follows Pulitzer Prize-winning food critic Jonathan Gold who shows a Los Angeles, where ethnic cooking is a kaleidoscopic portal to the mysteries of an unwieldy city and the soul of America. The documentary produced by Gabbert and Holly Becker premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in select theaters on March 11 by IFC Films/Sundance Selects. Visit the official movie website for more information.
