Mark Kilian and Paul Hepker are reteaming with director Gavin Hood (Ender’s Game, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) on the ucpoming thriller Eye in the Sky. The film stars Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul, Alan Rickman, Barkhad Abdi, Iain Glen, Phoebe Fox and Carl Beukes. The movie follows a London-based military intelligence officer who is remotely commanding a top secret drone operation that aims to capture a group of terrorists in Nairobi. Guy Hibbard (Five Minutes of Heaven) has written the screenplay. Actor Colin Firth is producing the project with Ged Doherty and David Lancaster (Nightcrawler, Whiplash). Kilian and Hepker have previously scored Hood’s Oscar-winning feature Tsotsi and the 2007 drama Rendition starring Reese Witherspoon & Jake Gyllenhaal. Eye in the Sky is expected to be released this year.
