Junkie XL revealed on Twitter that he has taken over scoring duties on the upcoming thriller Run All Night. The movie is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Unknown, Non-Stop, Orphan) and stars Liam Neeson, Joel Kinnaman, Ed Harris, Genesis Rodriguez, Holt McCallany, Boyd Holbrook, Vincent D’Onofrio and Common. The film follows an aging hitman who is forced to take on his brutal former boss to protect his estranged son and his family. Brad Inglesby (Out of the Furnace) has written the script. Roy Lee (The Lego Movie, The Lake House) is producing the Vertigo Entertainment production with Brooklyn Weaver (Extant). Junkie XL is replacing Alan Silvestri who recorded a score for the thriller earlier this year. Run All Night is set to be released on April 17, 2015 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Junkie XL whose previous scoring credits include Divergent, 300: Rise of an Empire and Paranoia also has George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road and Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice coming up.
