Interscope Records will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi drama The Giver. The album features the original song Ordinary Human by OneRepublic, as well as tracks by such artists as Aloe Blacc, Capital Cities, Tori Kelly, Jake Bugg, Bruno Major, Rixton, Sheppard & more. The soundtrack will be released on August 5, 2014 and is now abvailable for pre-order on Amazon. The Giver is directed by Phillip Noyce and stars Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, Brenton Thwaites, Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Swift, Cameron Monaghan, Odeya Rush, Emma Tremblay and Katie Holmes. The movie based on the bestselling novel by Lois Lowry features an original score by Marco Beltrami and will be released nationwide on August 15, 2014 by the Weinstein Company.
