The Crystal Method are composing the score for the new Fox series Almost Human. The show is created by J.H. Wyman (The Mexican, Fringe) and stars Karl Urban, Michael Ealy, Minka Kelly, Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Crook and Michael Irby. The drama is set 35 years in the future, when police officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like android and follows a respected police officer who has shut down emotionally after a tragic mission that claimed the lives of nine of his fellow elite officers. Wyman is also executive producing the Bonanza Productions, Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television production with J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk (Lost, Revolution). Brad Anderson (The Machinist, The Call) directed the pilot episode. The project marks The Crystal Method’s first series scoring assignment. The electronic music duo of Scott Kirkland and Ken D. Jordan have previously composed the main titles theme for the Fox hit series Bones. In addition, their single Keep Hope Alive was used for the NBC drama Third Watch. The duo’s music has also been used in such features as Fast & Furious 6, Zoolander, Real Steel and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.
