Tyler Bates is composing the score for the upcoming AMC original series Low Winter Sun. The show is created by Chris Mundy (Criminal Minds) and stars Mark Strong as a Detroit cop who helps murder a fellow lawman and believes he has pulled off the perfect crime. Lennie James, Erika Alexander, James Ransone, David Costabile, Sprague Grayden, Ruben Santiago-Hudson and Athena Karkanis are co-starring in the show, which is based on a British mini-series of the same title from 2006. Mindy is executive producing the series with Jeremy Gold (Hell on Wheels) and Greg Brenman (The Boys Are Back, Billy Elliot).
