Steve Jablonsky has signed on to score the pilot for the Fox drama The List. The show is created by Paul Zbyszewski (creator of Day Break, writer on Lost and Hawaii Five-0) and stars Michael Peña as a U.S. Marshal who leads the hunt for the person who stole “the list” – a file with the identities of every member of the Federal Witness Security Program – after people in the program start getting killed. Tamsin Egerton, Hilarie Burton and Gary Cole are also starring. Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) is directing the pilot episode and is executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Zbyszewski. Fleischer has previously collaborated with Jablonsky on this year’s feature Gangster Squad starring Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Emma Stone and Josh Brolin. Fox is expected to announce in May if The List will be picked up to series.
Jablonsky also has Michael Bay’s Pain & Gain starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson coming up next month. Varese Sarabande will release the composer’s score on April 16, 2013 and the film will be coming out on April 26 by Paramount Pictures.
