Composer Mark Mothersbaugh has been hired to score the upcoming documentary Born to be Wild 3D. According to Variety, the movie centers on orphaned baby orangutans and elephants receiving a second chance at life in the wild, thanks to primatologist Dr. Birute Galdikas in Borneo and elephant authority Dame Daphne Sheldrick. The documentary directed by David Lickley will be narrated by Morgan Freeman, who previously narrated the hit documentary March of the Penguins. Mothersbaugh also recently worked on the score for the TV show Glory Daze, which had it’s season premiere earlier this week on TBS. According to Zap2It, the one hour long comedy about the perils of being a college freshman in 1986 follows four students in particular as they pledge the Omega Sig frat house. The pilot of the show was directed by Walt Becker (Wild Hogs, Old Dogs). To find out more about the show, check out TBS’ Glory Daze webpage.
