Singer/songwriter and composer Pierre-Philippe Côté (aka Peter Henry Phillips) (Ravenous, An Eye for Beauty) has composed the original score for the upcoming comedy Not Okay. The film is written and directed by Quinn Shephard and stars Zoey Deutch, Dylan O’Brien, Mia Isaac, Embeth Davidtz, Tia Dionne Hodge, Nadia Alexander, Negin Farsad, Karan Soni and Dash Perry. The movie follows an aimless aspiring writer with no friends, no romantic prospects and no followers, who fakes an Instagram-friendly trip to Paris in the hopes of boosting her social media clout. Brad Weston (Queen & Slim, Footloose) & Negin Salmasi are producing the Searchlight Pictures and Makeready production with Caroline Jaczko, Chan Phung, Miranda Hill and Apolline Berty. Côté has previously scored Shephard’s first feature, Blame. Not Okay will premiere on August 5 on Hulu.
