Caroline Shaw has recently scored the upcoming drama The Sky Is Everywhere. The film is directed by Josephine Decker (Shirley) and stars Grace Kaufman, Pico Alexander, Jacques Colimon, Cherry Jones and Jason Segel. The movie is based on the YA novel of the same title by Jandy Nelson and revolves around a radiant musical prodigy who tries to keep things together in the aftermath of her older sister’s death when a charismatic new guy at school enters her life. Nelson also wrote the screenplay. Decker is also producing the A24 production with Denise Di Novi (Edward Scissorhands, Little Women, Crazy, Stupid, Love.), Margaret French Isaac and Allison Rose Carter (A Vigilante, The Mountain). Shaw has previously scored Decker’s 2018 feature Madeline’s Madeline. The Sky Is Everywhere will be released in select theaters on February 11, 2022 and will also be available to stream on Apple TV+ on the same day.
