Samuel Sim (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Spanish Princess, Domina, The Long Call, The Halcyon, Home Fires) has composed the original score for the new ITV series Anne. The show is written by Kevin Sampson and stars Maxine Peake, Stephen Walters, Steve Williams, Lily Shepherd, Bobby Schofield and Clare Calbraith. The 4-part drama directed by Bruce Goodison tells the true story of Anne Williams who dedicated her life to campaigning for justice following the death of her son who was tragically killed at the FA Cup semi-final in 1989 between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest. Simon Heath (Bodyguard, Line of Duty, Vigil) is executive producing the project for World Productions. Anne will premiere in the UK this Sunday on ITV.
Sim also continues to score ITV’s The Bay, which will return for its third season on January 12, 2022.
