Merge Records will release a soundtrack EP for the Apple TV+ animated series El Deafo. The 5-track EP features the original songs from the show written and performed by Katie Crutchfield (as Waxahatchee). The soundtrack will be released digitally on January 7, 2022 and is now available for pre-order here. A first track (Tomorrow) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. El Deafo is executive produced and written by Will McRobb based on Cece Bell’s graphic memoir of the same title and features the voices of Lexi Finigan, Pamela Adlon, Jane Lynch and Chuck Nic. The Lighthouse Studios production scored by Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko, Freaks & Geeks, Neighbors) follows perceptive young girl as she loses her hearing and finds her inner superhero. The show will premiere on January 7 exclusively on Apple TV+.
