Mateo Messina (Juno, Blockers, Superstore, The Wrong Missy, Barely Lethal, Desperados) is set to score the upcoming murder mystery What Remains. The film is written and directed by Nathan Scoggins and stars Cress Williams, Kellan Lutz, Anne Heche, Marcus Gladney Jr and Stelio Sevante . The movie follows a small town pastor who is forced to contend with an act of forgiveness when the convict he forgave for murdering his wife returns to town five years later. Ralph Winter (X-Men, Fantastic Four) and Korey Pollard are producing the Sharpened Iron Studios production. Messina has previously scored Scoggins’ feature directorial debut, The Least of These. What Remains is currently shooting in Texas and is expected to premiere in 2022. (Variety)
