Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age drama This Is the Night. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nathan Whitehead (The Purge, (The Purge, Days Gone, Keanu, The Veil, Stephanie, Chicago Party Aunt, The Remaining). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. This Is the Night is written and directed by James DeMonaco and stars Naomi Watts, Frank Grillo, Lucius Hoyos, Jonah Hauer-King, River Alexander, Chase Vacnin and Bobby Cannavale. The Blumhouse production is set in 1982, as all of Staten Island anticipates the opening of the blockbuster film, Rocky III, and a teen, his friends, and family are inspired to face down their challenges like their on-screen hero. The drama was released last Friday at New York’s Angelika Film Center and is now available on VOD.
