Stay Drab will release the official soundtrack album for the New Zealand drama The Justice of Bunny King. The album features the film’s original music composed by Karl Steven (Come to Daddy, The Girl on the Bridge, Bellbird, This Giant Papier-Mache Boulder Is Actually Really Heavy). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 2, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Justice of Bunny King is directed by Gaysorn Thavat and stars Essie Davis and Thomasin McKenzie. The movie follows a troublemaking mother who is cleaning car windscreens for a living as she is given new purpose when she takes her niece under her wing. The drama premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will be released theatrically in New Zealand on July 29. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
