Lifandi Records has released a soundtrack album for the Icelandic TV series The Valhalla Murders. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Petur Thor Benediktsson (End of Sentence, Fangar, Metalhead). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The Valhalla Murders is created by Thordur Palsson and stars Nína Dögg Filippusdóttir, Björn Thors, Bergur Ebbi, Aldís Amah Hamilton, Sigurður Skúlason, Tinna Hrafnsdóttir, Arndís Hrönn Egilsdóttir and Damon Younger. The 8-part thriller revolves around an Oslo detective with a painful past who returns to his native Iceland to help a dedicated cop hunt a serial killer with a link to a mysterious photo. The series, which first premiered in Iceland in 2019 on RÚV made its domestic debut last year and is now available to stream on Netflix.
