A soundtrack album will be released for the horror thriller The Dark and the Wicked. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tom Schraeder (Hurt, Beast Mode). Also included are two original songs written and performed by the singer/songwriter and composer. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 6 and is now available for pre-order here. The Dark and the Wicked is written and directed by Bryan Bertino (The Strangers) and stars Marin Ireland, Michael Abbott Jr. and Xander Berkeley. The movie follows two siblings who return home to say goodbye to their dying father but soon begin to suffer from a darkness marked by waking nightmares. The thriller premiered at this year’s Fantasia International Film Festival and will be released in select theaters and on VOD on November 6 by RLJE Films before coming out on Blu-ray and DVD on December 15.
