Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd, Tales from the Loop, Wormwood, Walking with Dinosaurs 3D) has been hired to score the upcoming comedy Best Sellers. The film is directed by Lina Roessler and stars Michael Caine, Aubrey Plaza, Scott Speedman and Ellen Wong. The movie revolves around a has-been author who embarks on a wild book tour with a young editor trying to save her father’s boutique publishing house. Anthony Grieco wrote the screenplay. Arielle Elwes (Braid), Cassian Elwes (Mudbound, Lee Daniels’ The Butler), Petr Jákl (The Last Full Measure), Wayne Marc Godfrey (The Foreigner, The Informer), Jonathan Vanger (Upside Down, Erased) and Pierre Even (The Colony, The Hummingbird Project) are producing the project. Best Sellers is currently in post-production. No word yet on a premiere date.
Leonard-Morgan also continues to score The CW’s Dynasty, which has been renewed for a fourth season to premiere in 2021. The composer’s upcoming feature projects also include the Gregory Caruso-directed documentary Conversion.
