Nima Fakhrara (The Signal, Detroit: Become Human, The Pyramid, The Girl in the Photographs) has been hired to score the upcoming action thriller Becky. The film is directed by Jonathan Milott & Cary Murnion (Bushwick, Cooties) and stars Kevin James, Lulu Wilson, Joel McHale, Amanda Brugel and Robert Maillet. The movie follows a spunky, rebellious 14-year-old brought to a weekend getaway by her father in an effort to try to reconnect after her mother’s death, when a group of convicts on the run suddenly invade the lake house. Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman & Russ Posternak (Burn) are producing the project for Yale Productions, alongside Raphael Margules and J.D. Lifshitz (Contracted, Dementia) for BoulderLight Pictures. Fakhrara has previously scored Yale Productions’ Crypto starring Beau Knapp, Alexis Bledel, Luke Hemsworth & Kurt Russell. Becky is currently in post-production and is expected to be released later this year.
