Gabriel Mann is composing the original score for the upcoming Disney+ original series High School Musical: The Musical. The show is developed by Tim Federle (Ferdinand) based on Disney Channel’s High School Musical movies and stars Joshua Bassett, Olivia Rodrigo, Kate Reinders, Sofia Wylie, Matt Cornett, Dara Renee, Julia Lester, Frankie Rodriguez, Larry Saperstein and Mark St. Cyr. The series picks up nearly 15 years after the original movie aired and follows a group of students as they count down to opening night of their school’s first-ever production of High School Musical. Federle is also executive producing the project with Oliver Goldstick (Pretty Little Liars) and Bill Borden & Barry Rosenbush who produced the original movies. High School Musical: The Musical is set to premiere this November on Disney+.
Mann also continues to score ABC’s Modern Family, which will return for its eleventh and final season this fall, as well as A Million Little Things, which is coming back for its second season this fall.
