Deutsche Grammophon has announced the full details of John Williams‘ & Anne-Sophie Mutter‘s Across the Stars album. The album features the Academy Award-winning composer conducting new arrangements of some of his iconic movie themes, including pieces written for the Star Wars and Harry Potter movies, Schindler’s List, Memoirs of a Geisha, Far and Away, Sabrina & more, with violin solos by Mutter. Across the Stars was recorded at the historic Sony Pictures Scoring Stage in Hollywood and will be released on August 30, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
