Eric Serra (Leon: The Professional, The Fifth Element, GoldenEye, La Femme Nikita, Lucy, The Big Blue) is set to compose the score for the upcoming documentary Heart of Oak. The film is directed by Laurent Charbonnier (Animals in Love) & Michel Seydoux (The Dance of Reality, The Sense of Wonder) and will explore the power and longevity of oak trees. The movie is produced by Winds and Camera One. Gaumont is set to release the documentary in French theaters in late 2020. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal. (Variety)
Serra has also recently scored Luc Besson’s Anna, which will be released in U.S. theaters on June 21 by Lionsgate.
