SQÜRL (aka Jim Jarmusch & Chris Logan) have composed the music for the upcoming zombie comedy The Dead Don’t Die. The film is written and directed by Jarmusch (Broken Flowers, Only Lovers Left Alive) and stars Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Iggy Pop, Selena Gomez and Tom Waits. The movie unfolds in the peaceful town of Centerville, which suddenly finds itself under attack by zombies. Logan (Gimme Danger) is also producing the project with Joshua Astrachan (A Prairie Home Companion, Short Term 12). Jarmusch & Logan have previously co-scored the director’s last feature Paterson as SQÜRL. The Dead Don’t Die will this week at the Cannes Film Festival and will be released in U.S. theaters on June 14, 2019 by Focus Features. Visit the official movie website for more information.
