Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French thriller The Wolf’s Call (Le chant du loup). The album features the film’s original music composed by tomandandy (The Strangers, 47 Meters Down, The Mothman Prophecies, Sinister 2). Also included is the original track Honoring the Dead written for the movie by Marc Streitenfeld (Prometheus, American Gangster, Robin Hood) (also available as a digital single here). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Wolf’s Call is directed by Antonin Baudry and stars François Civil, Omar Sy, Mathieu Kassovitz and Reda Kateb. The movie is set in the near future, on board a French submarine in crisis and centers on a crew member who unwittingly participates in an operation that will lead his country to the brink of an apocalypse. The thriller will be released in French theaters next Wednesday, February 20. No word yet on a domestic release.
