Marc Streitenfeld is composing the original music for the upcoming drama Come Sunday. The film is written and directed by Joshua Marston (Maria Full of Grace, Complete Unknown) and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Martin Sheen, Jason Segel, Condola Rashad, Danny Glover and Lakeith Stanfield. The movie is based on a 2005 This American Life segment entitled Heretics and tells the story of a minister in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who loses his congregation of thousands following the revelation that he no longer believes in hell. Marcus Hinchey (All Good Things) wrote the screenplay. Ira Glass (Don’t Think Twice, Sleepwalk with Me), Alissa Shipp and James D. Stern (Looper, I’m Not There.) are producing the project. Marc Forster (World War Z, Finding Neverland) who was originally attached to direct the film serves as an executive producer. Streitenfeld has previously collaborated with Forster on the Amazon series Hand of God and the feature All I See Is You, which will be released in U.S. theaters on October 27. Come Sunday is expected to premiere in 2018 on Netflix.
