Gabriel Mann is set to compose the original score for the upcoming CBS comedy 9JKL. The show is created by Dana Klein (Friends with Better Lives) & Mark Feuerstein who also stars in the series alongside Linda Lavin, Elliott Gould, David Walton, Liza Lapira and Matt Murray. The comedy is inspired by Feuerstein’s adult life when he lived in apartment 9K in the building he grew up in, sandwiched between his doting parents’ apartment, 9J, and his brother, sister-in-law and their baby’s apartment. Feuerstein is also executive producing the CBS Television production with Pamela Fryman (How I Met Your Mother), Aaron Kaplan (The Mysteries of Laura, Divorce, American Housewife), Dana Honor and Wendi Trilling. 9JKL is set to premiere on October 2, 2017 and will air Monday nights on CBS. Mann also continues to score ABC’s Modern Family, Nickelodeon’s School of Rock and Netflix’s Dawn of the Croods. The composer also composed the music for the indie comedy Humor Me, which will premiere this coming week at the Los Angeles Film Festival.
