Andrew Dost is making his feature film scoring debut with the upcoming indie comedy D-Train. The film is written and directed by Andrew Mogel & Jarrad Paul (Yes Men, Allen Gregory) and stars Jack Black, James Marsden, Kathryn Hahn, Kyle Bornheimer and Adria Tennor. The movie follows a Middle America high school reunion committee chairman, still searching for high school acceptance, who has to do whatever it takes to get the most popular guy from high school to show up to their 20-year reunion. Mike White (The School of Rock, Orange County) & David Bernad (Enlightened, Magic Magic) are producing the project for RipCord Productions, alongside Black & Priyanka Mattoo for Electric Dynamite and Barnaby Thompson (Hope Springs, An Ideal Husband) & Ben Latham Jones for Ealing Studios. Dost who is best known as a member of the indie pop band Fun. has previously scored the MTV original comedy series Faking It. D-Train is expected to premiere in early 2015.
