Blake Neely has been hired to score the upcoming Warner Bros comedy Life as We Know It. In the movie, two single adults become caregivers to an orphaned girl when their mutual best friends die in an accident. The movie stars Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel and is directed by Greg Berlanti. Berlanti and Neely previously collaborated on such TV shows as Everwood, Eli Stone and Brothers & Sisters. Life as We Know It is scheduled to be released on December 22.
Blake Neely also continues to score the TV shows The Mentalist and Brothers and Sisters. His music can also be heard in the HBO miniseries The Pacific which premieres this Sunday night. As Film Music Reporter previously reported, The Pacific‘s score, which Neely co-composed with Hans Zimmer and Geoff Zanelli was released this week by Rhino Records.
