Andrew Lockington is reuniting with director Brad Peyton on the upcoming thriller Incarnate. The film stars Aaron Eckhart, Carice van Houten, Catalina Sandino Moreno and David Mazouz. The movie follows an unconventional exorcist who taps into the subconscious of a nine-year old boy who is possessed by a powerful, ancient demon. Ronnie Christensen (Passengers, Dark Tide) has written the screenplay. Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious) is producing the project through his Blumhouse production company. WWE Studios president Michael Luisi (The Call, Oculus) is executive producing alongside Trevor Engelson, Stuart Ford, Couper Samuelson, Michael Seitzman and Charles Layton. Lockington and Peyton have previously collaborated on 2012’s Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. The composer’s previous film scoring credits also include Journey to the Center of the Earth, City of Ember and last year’s Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. Incarnate is expected to be released in the U.S. by Universal Pictures. No release date has been announced yet.
