Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the comedy drama Song for Marion. The album features the songs featured in the film performed by the movie’s cast. Also included are selections from the original score composed by Laura Rossi. The soundtrack will be released in the UK on February 25, 2013. No word yet on a domestic release. Song for Marion written and directed by Paul Andrew Williams and starring Terence Stamp, Gemma Arterton, Vanessa Redgrave and Christopher Eccleston follows a grumpy pensioner who is reluctantly inspired by his beloved wife Marion to join a highly unconventional local choir. The movie premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and will be released in the UK later this month and is set to come out in the US under the title Unfinished Song on June 21, 2013 by the Weinstein Company.
