The movie is loosely based on the book Dear Giulia written by Gino Cecchettin with Marco Franzoso and tells the story of Giulia Cecchettin and the pain of her father who chooses to transform the loss of his daughter into a commitment against violence towards women. The drama premiered at this year’s Rome Film Festival and will be released in Italian theaters this Thursday, November 5. No word yet on a domestic release.
